Play Slots Smart

Posted by: Professional Gambler  /  Category: Gambling Guides
Smart Ways to Play Slots Progressive slots offer jackpots that grow as more money is played through the machine. The progressive may be part of a network of machines all offering the same jackpot, and all contributing a portion of their play-through to that total. Until a lucky player hits the jackpot, progressive slots grow larger and larger, either topping out at a predefined level set by the casino, or being won in a single spin and getting reset.
The jackpot grows in proportion to how much play the machine or network of machines get. After a major win, the jackpot value is reset to a base figure and it starts growing again. All of the lavish and extravagant prizes one sees on the casino floor are made possible by the progressive jackpot concept. Here are the most important things you need to know before playing progressive slots.
o begin with, you have to choose between standard slots and progressives. Your decision will likely be based on your motivation to play. Progressive slots set aside some of their revenue to be put towards a giant jackpot, but offer smaller and often less frequent payouts in between. If you’re playing slots because you want to strike it rich, progressive slots are tailor made for you. If you prefer to maximize your playing time on a limited budget, and would be perfectly happy making just a few bucks, then it’s best to stick with machines offering smaller jackpots. Lower jackpot machines will likely offer smaller but more frequent wins. To maximize your potential revenue, browse through the slots to find similar machines. Some stand-alone progressive slots may be the same except for the current jackpot total.

Always choose the machine with the highest accumulated jackpot among similar machines. Chances are they were reset to the same base level, and the one with the higher jackpot has been running longer since being won. Keep in mind that, if you are a progressive slots fan, all progressive machines require that you bet the maximum number of coins to be eligible for the big jackpot. If you play these machines, you’ve chosen to forego more frequent small profits for a shot at a big payout, and that payout will only go to players placing the maximum bet.

Roulette Assault – Roulette Automated System

Roulette Assault – A different breed of Automated Roulette System

There is a new player in the commercial Roulette Software game, and in this review, you are going to learn all about it.  The new software is called Roulette Assault, and it has become worthy of this
Roulette Assault
review because of its stunning new features that no other roulette software can compare to.

Over the last few months, I have seen several new roulette software products crop up in to the scene. The newest feature that most of them are boasting is automation. The software basically does all the work for you, no mouse required.  In this case, that is a good thing, but it doesn’t really make the software any more unique than the traditional manual method of playing, simply because these other products don’t offer anything unique about the actual strategies they implement.

The developers at Roulette Assault stepped up and not only created a completely automated roulette betting robot, but it looks like they did things a little differently as well.

The biggest difference that I noticed about the Roulette Assault software is that it doesn’t utilize the sleeper system like the vast majority of its competitors.  This system waits for several “misses” of a section of the roulette board, and then starts placing bets using a progression.  Although Roulette Assault offers the sleeper system as one of the systems the player can use, it also has 3 additional systems the player can implement, such as the Six Point Divisor system, the Double Dozens system, and the Progressive Singles system.

When it comes to using a roulette system, there should be a way to test it without having to place a single dime on the roulette table.  Roulette Assault has a feature called “foreplay mode” that does this. You can set the robot up to spin the roulette wheel and collect numbers and play them against a fictitious game.  In other words, it plays the game inside itself while keeping track of the balance and settings you have set.

Roulette Assault can also store the previous numbers using the History feature.  Recording the history will save the player a lot of time because it can take several hours to record 30,000 or more “real money” spins to test a system.  The best part is that when you are satisfied with the number of spins you have recorded, you can then tweak whatever system and settings you want to use and run it against the analyzer.  The analyzer is another great feature.

Although there are several more features that Roulette Assault offers, I will not go over them here because they are very “nice-to-have”, but are explained in great detail on the Roulette Assault website, and also on my review website.  The above mentioned features are totally unique to Roulette Assault, and the rest are common amongst various commercial roulette systems. Videopoker Tips

Video Poker is all-too-often confused with slots. Simply because they are graphically-driven games, video poker requires far more thought and strategy. Some good rules of thumb to improve your odds of success are:

1. You can apply a different strategy to each machine, so when you find a machine you like, stick with it. The longer you play, you will become more comfortable and be able to develop a strategy that works best for you .

2. Resist the temptation to hold on to a Kicker. Holding an unpaired card with a pair adds no value to your hand.

3. Drawing an outside straight (_5,6,7,8_) is far and away easier than waiting to draw an inside straight (5,6,_,8,9). Allowing yourself to wait for a draw on an outside straight allows you to complete your hand by getting the card you need on either end.

4. Jacks or Better has an easy-to-understand strategy that makes it the game best suited to players new to Video Poker.

5. Higher payouts such as 9/6 for Jacks or Better and 9/5 for Deuces Wild offer the best payouts for players.

6. Before you discard, remember that the probability of a Royal Flush in Jacks or Better Video Poker is approximately 1 in every 40,000 hands.

7. Never hold three cards in an attempt to get a straight or flush.

Slots Terminology

Slots Terminology

Like so many games in the casino, slots has its own terms, and as players we are better off being familiar with them. Some terms apply more to land-based gaming, while some are exclusive to the online world. On this page we will cover common terminology and what each term means.

RNG (Random Number Generator): A Random Number Generator is a piece of software, usually housed on a computer chip placed inside the slot machine by the manufacturer. In online terms, the Random Number Generator is the piece of software on the game server. The purpose of both is identical, and that is to randomly select hundreds of numbers and symbols every second, faster than you can pull the handle or click the spin button. It’s working even when the machine is idle. Each random number corresponds to a certain reel and symbol combination that is randomly chosen after the first coin is dropped or credit played. Naturally, the fewest programmed combinations are for the top jackpot.

Reels: The number of wheels/reels showing on slot with symbol combinations imprinted. In a classic machine there are usually three, but some slots have five.

Slot Schedule: Also referred to as the slot payout schedule, this is information posted on front of slot machine and tells you what denomination and win amounts are possible for the machine. You should always be aware of these things for the slot machine you’re playing.

Slot Cycle: Slot’s average payoff percentage rate applies over the long haul; as long as one fiscal year. Therefore, over the course of a session, a slot advertised as having a 98% payoff rate will sometimes pay off at 130% and other times at 50%. The lower percentages indicate a down cycle, and the higher numbers indicate an up cycle. However, in reality there is no consistency to a cycle, as the jackpot can theoretically always be won on the next spin.

Slots Drop and Hold: The slots drop is the amount of money played through the machine. The slots hold is the amount of money the machine retains (that which is not paid out as winnings). A slot machine payout percentage is calculated by dividing the hold number by the drop number and multiplying by 100%. For example: a machine which takes in $100 and pays out $50 can have its payout percentage calculated as such: 50 / 100 x 100% = 50%.

Slot Testing: The act of playing through a set number of coins without using accumulated credits, and keeping track of the drop and hold, in order to determine your session payout percentage for a selected slot.

Slot-mix or Slot Placement: Often people claim casinos place high paying slot machines near highly visible areas of the casino so that winners can be seen and heard better by the populace. This theory has been proven wrong by the Wizard of Odds.

Short Win: Large jackpot win after a small cash outlay – happens often.

Craps Tips and Strategies

CRAPS TIPS from FLAMINGO CLUB

Ever played craps? If you have, you fall into one of two categories. You either love it; or you hate it. The reason behind the varying sentiments is simple. You can either monumentally increase your bankroll, or watch it dwindle before your very eyes in the matter of just a few rolls of the dice. Craps is different, in that unlike other games of chance, there is a secret to ‘where’ you bet your money. The best pass bets to make are Pass and Don’t Pass, and Come and Don’t Come, with or without Free Odds.

Just as in all games, there are no surefire systems that will guarantee a winning return.

However, there are some keys to help increase your odds of winning consistently:

* While you can’t guarantee that you will win consistently, you can lose consistently. Players who: play not to lose, not to win; play without discipline; rely strictly on luck; set unrealistic winning goals; are without sound money management systems.

* If you bet the same amount each time, you will almost always lose. Using the Progression and Regression method (by increasing and decreasing your wagers at a fixed rate, i.e. starting with twice the table minimum, followed by the minimum, and so on as you win) is the best bet to make money long-term.

* Don’t let your winnings Ride. Otherwise, you have nothing to show for your initial win except an ensuing loss. Remember that craps is a streaky game, and you will need that bankroll down the line. Understanding that, you should bring enough cash to wager 25 to 30 bets to ensure the security of your winnings when they do finally come.
